Continuing Education Programs
Professional Education Activities
We offer several types of continuing education programs each year, allowing participants to earn needed CPE at very reasonable prices:
 
  • Regular chapter meetings -- We invite guest speakers for luncheon meetings, with topics of interest to government accountants and auditors, providing one hour of CPE each month from September through June (excluding December and February).
  • National AGA audio conferences - We host approximately 12 audio conferences each program year, each providing 2 hours of CPE
  • Government Accounting Conference - Starting in 2010, we host a 2-day accounting conference, providing up to 16 hours of CPE (programs and number of CPE may vary from year to year).
  • If you have ideas for CPE programs you would like to see in the future, please contact one of our chapter officers.

Audio Conference Schedule for 2012 / 2013
Audio conferences are held on Wednesdays when AGA National has an audio conference that we have purchased. (Click here for audio conference information from the National AGA website.) The cost is FREE for AGA members and $20 for non-members. Sign-in begins at 1:30 and the audio conference is from 2:00 - 3:50 PM. Flyers will be posted to this web page as they become available and will also be sent by e-mail to the chapter distribution list. Audio conferences are held at different locations - check your flyer for exact locations.
